More Fun Stuff from Lizzard's Liberal Socialist Daughters

Well, I'm sure you've been enjoying the diatribes from Lizzard's liberal socialist daughter, Samantha, in her feeble attempt to justify socialized medicine and in the process calling yours truly a greedy racist who does not deserve to earn a decent living. Well another one of his daughters, Casey, piped up with the following:

I did not write this and cannot take credit for it, but I thought I would share it with you... this was written by my friend Joe Hall and posted in his facebook account...

This morning I was awoken by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the US department of energy. I then took a shower in the clean water provided by the municipal water utility. After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC regulated channels to see what the national weather service of the national oceanographic and atmospheric administration determined the weather was going to be like using satellites designed, built, and launched by the national aeronautics and space administration. I watched this while eating my breakfast of US department of agriculture inspected food which has been determined as safe by the food and drug administration. At the appropriate time as kept accurate by the national institute of standards and technology and the US naval observatory, I get into my national highway traffic safety administration approved automobile and set out to work on the roads built by the local, state, and federal departments of transportation, possibly stopping to purchase additional fuel of a quality level determined by the environmental protection agency, using legal tender issued by the federal reserve bank. On the way out the door I deposit any mail I have to be sent out via the US postal service and drop the kids off at the public school. After spending another day not being maimed or killed at work thanks to the workplace regulations imposed by the department of labor and the occupational safety and health administration, I drive back to my house which has not burned down in my absence because of the state and local building codes and the fire marshall's inspection, and which has not been plundered of all its valuables thanks to the local police department. I then log onto the internet which was developed by the defense advanced research projects administration and post on freerepublic and fox news forums about how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD because the government can't do anything right.

Here is my thoughtful reply:

Well, Casey, it's a good thing that you did not write this. I'd hate for you to have to take credit for such blather. All I can say about Joe Hall is that he is a socialist. He admits it! Good for him! Barack and the liberals try to fool the masses with smoke and mirrors, but they don't have the guts to admit who they really are and what they stand for. Unfortunately Joe's feeble attempt to convince us that big gubment and socialism is a good thing is laughable.
He begins talking about the electric power grid. Although the gubment has made it its bidness to regulate such things, they had nothing to do with its creation. We have to give credit to the genius minds of Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse for those accomplishments. If it had been left to some gubment bureaucrat, we'd still be using candles and kerosene lamps.

Then he talks about TV and the "FCC regulated channels". Again the gubment places itself in the regulatory role but had little if anything to do with the technology of the airwaves today. In fact much of the technology that Joe Hall enjoys today was due to ham operators like your dad and me, independent thinkers and inventors who developed and pioneered radio and television from the very beginning. It was not until 1934 that the gubment jumped in and began airwave regulation and believe it or not they did this at the behest of commercial interests that wanted to take the airwaves away from private users.

I had to laugh when he mentioned, "fuel quality level(s) determined by the environmental protection agency". The EPA is one of the biggest disasters foisted upon Americans by the gubment. This agency by fiat can declare an area off limits, deny hundreds to thousands of people jobs and livelihood, in the name of preserving the habitat of some blue crested, green assed, cowpie beetle.

At the same time the same congress that created the EPA puts the security of this nation at risk by refusing to let us drill for our own oil. Instead, they put us at the mercy of Arabs and communists, many of whom would just as soon kill us as to look at us. They have not let us build a new refinery since 1975, and I hear they intend to oppose the renewal of licenses of existing nuclear plants and they won't even consider letting us build new ones. On top of this they propose ridiculous Cap and Trade legislation guaranteed to drastically raise the energy costs of each and every American household, and this all in the name of "saving the planet". If you haven't figured it out yet, Casey, manmade global warming is a hoax. It's not about reducing carbon emissions, which by the way Cap and Trade won't do, so it's about CONTROL!
The same congress has taken possession of the car companies and will no doubt impose more and more stringent CAFÉ standards, slowly but surely forcing people to buy cars that resemble tin cans, which nobody wants. Thank the unions, CAFÉ standards, and never ending gubment intrusion for the condition the American auto companies are in today. Most people want trucks and SUV's, not electric roller skates.

I laughed out loud when he mentioned the US Postal Service and public schools as gubment successes. Both of these entities are an absolute disgrace. The postal service runs in the red and wants to increase prices again. 48 percent of the populace in the city of Detroit is illiterate! Who runs Detroit and Michigan? DEMOCRATS! Public schools…………how's that hope and change working out for you, Detroit?

Indeed public schools should be entirely abolished and the task of education completely privatized with schools competing against each other for students and money. The lousy schools and lousy teachers would quickly be eliminated to the good of everyone.

Joe Hall did get one thing right when he talked about legal tender issued by the Federal Reserve Bank. In fact, printing of money is the only thing mentioned in his diatribe sanctioned by the Constitution of the United States. There is nothing in the Constitution sanctioning gubment control of the power grid, the airwaves, utilities, agriculture, outer space, highways and infrastructure, food and drugs, automobiles, gasoline, energy, schools, and certainly not HEALTHCARE.

He even neglected to mention the other power granted to the federal gubment by the Constitution, and that would be the military. Indeed we have had to fight wars and kill people in order to keep our country free. Were it not for our honored soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, and coasties, all this other stuff we have been bickering about would be irrelevant.

So Joe thinks that socialized medicine is okay and the gubment can handle it just fine? Sure he does. He's a socialist! Thanks for admitting it, Joe!
Joe and Casey, Medicare and Medicaid are gubment run, single payer, healthcare programs. They are broke. The Veteran's Administration, another gubment run healthcare system is a disgrace. I could tell you some real VA horror stories but I'll save that for another post. Somehow, with Medicare, Medicaid, and the VA as examples, I don't want the gubment administering my healthcare…..no thanks.

The sad truth though is that Barack Obama and the left is not one bit interested in delivering healthcare or reducing costs. It's all about taking control of every aspect our lives. A gubment that has control of our healthcare indeed will be able to tell you what to eat, what to drink, what to smoke, how to act, what to wear, where to go, what to drive, what kind of light bulbs to put in your house………there's no end to it.

For a socialist, this is just fine, since they believe the answer to all of mankind's problems rests with big, intrusive, gubment. We are too stupid to make our own decisions and choose our own path.
As for me, I've done just fine for the last 57 years. All that I ask is that the gubment just get out of my way, keep their hand out of my pocket, and just leave me the hell alone. You be sweet, Casey.
So there you have it friends. It is a miracle this country became the great nation that it is when it is populated by people who think like Casey and Joe Hall. Casey, you and Sam keep it up! This stuff is just too good! Ain't I just the most annoying conservative you've ever met?

  2. Great post Grouch---you certainly have a way of twisting the knife when you stick it in, you don't leave a bit of that socialist cancer behind to grow.

  3. Well said Grouch.

"We are too stupid to make our own decisions and choose our own path."

That's partly right, just change the 'we' to 'socialists' and 'our' to 'their'. Socialists are too stupid, lazy and parasitical, so they need government. I have no problem with them having government hector them around like stupid baboons, but for some reason, they want the rest of us in there with them. That's my problem with them and their ideology.

  4. Wow, Joe forgot to mention that his house is a Gov't housing project (we all know how well they are run) or he pays rent by Sect 8 housing voucher. Great post Grouch

  5. Thanks for the plug on Right Truth, sweet wifey.

Ron it's always fun to twist the knife in a liberal. They always squeal like a pig!

MK, I think it's time for secession in the US. Let the liberals for their own United Socialist States of America.

Brian, I don't know this Joe Hall, but I woulnd't doubt if he lives in a housing project or is on some kind of entitlement program.

  6. Grouch, the only thing I can add is that Tesla and Marconi were both instrumental in electric power AND radio/tv. Actually Edison wanted us all to be using DC in our homes, Tesla was the real advocate of AC power transmission. Edison came around and moved in on Tesla.

  7. You're welcome

  8. I'm sorry doc, but yew do censor yer blogs. I posted an anonymous reply the other night that mentioned yer wifey (bless her heart) havin' to stick up fer her hubby's BS.
Yew don't remember anything about a liberal intervention, tee pee paper to clean up the crap that oozes from yer mouth (which you should seek help fer) and playing the bass with one hand when Sarah Palin is on the boob tube?
It must have been one of those rare system errors that deleted my post since yew don't censor yer blogs. Oh well, `nuff said...

  9. Ok I lied earlier, I am just going to post a quick observation to you and dad...

Didn't you both put your children in public schools when there are private school options? You both obviously trusted the government to help teach your children.

What? Is the next comment going to be that you could not afford private schools? Guess what... millions of working Americans can not afford healthcare.

  10. Chris, I can tell by your command of the language that you are a bumbling boob. I guess you're trying to be funny, but you're really hard to follow. Your anonymous comment is indeed there in all it's glory. You just forget which post you commented on I guess. If you'll plug this URL into your browser, you'll find your comment:

Perhaps you'd like to leave a retraction now?

By the way you evidently know nothing of blogging, You POST nothing here on my blog. I am the only one who POSTS here,

YOU are free to leave COMMENTS.

I'm sure my readers would LOVE to read your post. However, I reserve the right to tear you and your opinion to shreds. Should not be difficult.

    Or you can email me:

Glad to see you grew a pair and decided not to hide behind anonymous commenting.

  11. Casey, I knew you couldn't stay away. My only child went to public school. When we lived in Trenton, I don't ever remember this being an issue. I think the closest private schools were in Jackson anyway.....I don't really remember. The transit time would have been undesirable.

So happens that we were intimately involved in her education. We knew most of the teachers on a personal level, and we pretty much knew what she was being taught. I can assure you if we had had misgivings about her education in Trenton, she would have gone to a private school.

On the other hand, my sister and I contribute to the private education of my grandson. Nashville school system is huge and we have no way of keeping track what he would be taught there (or not taught). He is enrolled in Donelson Christian Academy. He has excellent teachers (we know all of them), excellent curricula, and moral training in a place where they pray to Jesus every day, unlike in the public school where the mention of God is forbidden.

If it were up to me, all public education would be abolished and the entire system privatized. The schools would compete against each other for money, student, and quality teachers. The money could come from a blend of taxes and private payment. Guarantee you it would be a helluva lot better than what we have now.

    You be sweet Casey.......
