BCS Under Review

So the Bowl Championship Series (the post season college football bowls) are now under scrutiny. This time the gubment is going to weasel it's way into more of our private lives by stating that the current BCS method of determining the national college football champion may violate antitrust laws.

Apparently part of this initiative is instigated by Orin Hatch, a Republican. The article states, "Hatch, a Utah Republican, was steamed that his home state team was deprived of getting a chance to play for the title last year".

Bwaa! Haaa! Haaa! My team didn't get to play! Bwaa! Haaa! Haaa! I'm gonna pass a law to punish that vile BCS! It doesn't matter if the law is an intrusion into personal liberty and flies in the face of the Constitution! I'm gonna pass it anyway! Bwaa! Haaa! Haaa!

Since when is it the bidness of the United States Gubment to regulate college football? Orin Hatch should be ashamed of himself. I would love more than anything to see a college football playoff system, but I sure don't want the criminals in congress mandating it!
What's that I see? Could it be a little Camel Toe? Hooooo Raaaaa!

  1. This was Barack Obama's idea, he made a comment about it even before he was President and he made a statement just this week.

    Right Truth

  2. You are right Debbie. Also maybe some reps. who thought their home teams should have been included in the BCS. Government and football---thats the last straw!
