A Rudderless Victory in 2010???

I read that a recent Gallup survey indicates that more people identifying themselves as Conservatives or Liberals has increased and the nummer of moderates has decreased. Conservatives outnummer liberals by almost 2 to 1. This is a good thing. I never have cared much for squishy moderates. I am not of the mind that we need to find "common ground" and "we just need to all get along". On the contrary, we need to have steadfast beliefs and fight tooth and nail for what is right, especially when the survival of the USA is at stake.

You have got to stand up for something or you're gonna fall for anything!

Yall know that I am a history buff and strangely enough this whole thing reminded me of the battleship Bismarck in World War 2. The Bismarck was the pride of the German navy, powerful, fast, and dubbed "unsinkable" by some. The British hunted her down relentlessly. The fatal blow to the Bismarck was delivered by a single small obsolete aircraft which lauched a torpedo into her rudder. Rudderless, she was unable to steer and went in circles until the British battleships found her and reduced her to a flaming wreck. She basically didn't have a chance.

Here we sit in 2010 with the Dimocrat party shoving their unwanted socialist agenda down our throats. Dimocrat legislators are throwing in the towel. The American people are furious and ready to throw the bums out.

Alas, the Republican party is like the rudderless Bismarck, steaming in circles. In 2008, many said the Republican party was doomed and didn't have a chance. In spite of this it appears the Dimocrats may sustain huge losses this coming November........no thanks to the Republicans. Sweet wifey waxed eloquently in her post: RNC: Where is the money???

When the little pinhead callers call here begging for money we tell them we will only contribute to individual CONSERVATIVE candidates. You'd think the RNC would sooner or later get the message. This year we have an opportunity to win a great victory, send the communists/socialists/facists packing, take back America, respect the Constitution, and hopefully roll back a lot of the damage that has already been done.

Can you imagine how much greater the victory could be if the Republicans would start bringing to the fore genuine conservative candidates and start disowning those squishy RINO's and moderates? Sorry to say that the powers that be in the Republican party are still deep down ashamed of us true conservatives.

Unlike the rudderless Bismarck, I think conservatism will still win a victory in 2010, but can you imagine what it would be like if we went into the fight, true to course, at flank speed, with all our big guns blazing? Gives me chills to think about it!

Ain't gonna happen...................

  1. I'm hoping that the Republicans will soon get the message. There are some really good Conservatives, very few of them though. I thought Steele was a good pick, but I've seen that I was wrong.
