Tell it Like it is, Doc! - UPDATED

Dr. Jack Cassell, a urologist from Mt. Dora, FL. has posted a sign outside his office telling Obama voters to go elsewhere. I love it! I love it! I love it!

Dr. Cassell goes on to say that he is turning nobody away and is refusing care to no one. If they still want to come on in after reading the sign, they are welcome to do so. Of course the usual gang of busybodies is up in arms over this.

A professor of bioethics, law, and medical professionalism, at the University of Florida (I don't remember having any professors like that at the University of Tennessee) says Cassell may be on thin ice. The professor said doctors cannot refuse patients on the basis of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or disability, but political preference is not one of the legally protected categories specified in civil-rights law. By insisting he does not quiz his patients about their politics and has not turned away patients based on their vote, the doctor is "trying to hold onto the nub of his ethical obligation,".......... "But this is pushing the limit,"............

Says who? Just because he's some professor? Whatchu wanna bet he's a damned Dimocrat? I love it when these self appointed experts sit in their ivory towers, pass judgment on the rest of us, and cleverly try to bloviate away our first amendment rights.

Surprise! Surprise! The Florida Medical Association had no comment! Well, of course not. Most of these "medical associations" are packed with liberals (the AMA is nothing but a buncha liberal hacks).

For now, Dr. Cassell has the first amendment on his side, but you know what the party in power thinks of the Constitution. They don't mind flushing it down the crapper if the end result suits them.

You go, Dr. Cassell! Keep telling the truth!

  1. Neil Cavuto just interviewed the good doctor on Fox, I'm sure Fox will have the video up soon. You need to listen. He's a nice, polite, young doctor who actually read the bill. He got upset when he realized exactly what was going to happen and when. By next year, according to him, many tests will simply disappear for patients, tests that you doctors depend on for diagnosis.
