Illegal Immigrants Leaving Arizona

Illegal immigrants are leaving Arizona over the new immigration law. It is hoped that this phenomenon will create jobs for legal Americans.....you know all those "jobs that Americans won't do"????

I'm sure the usual suspects are squalling and bawling over this but, hey, I say it's about damned time. The new law is doing exactly what it is supposed to do, ridding the country of illegal invaders. It's too damn bad that the United States federal gubment won't institute a policy (no need to pass a new law, the law is already there, just enforce it). Then we might see illegal invaders leaving the country for good.

Way to go, Arizona!

The Decider

Barack has decided he knows when you've made enough money. Disgraceful!

I Want my Money Back

I heard on the news yesterday that some of Charlie Crist's (you know, the lying Florida gubner) donors are wanting their contributions back. This after he declared he was going to run as an independent. I was just wondering for future reference, how do you go about doing this?

There may be some dud candidates in my future from whom I may want a refund. Anybody know?

Rise Up! Take a Stand!

Suddenly there is outrage from Warshington over the new immigration law in Arizona. Too bad there has never been outrage over the federal gubment's failure to enforce existing laws.

Now there is whining and moaning from all the usual suspects, the president, the Dimocrat congress, many of the RINO Republicans (McCain is up for re-election and suddenly he is all anti-illegal immigration), so called Hispanics (although I think most hard working Hispanics who came here through legal channels are fed up with the feds), the "reverend" Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton (talk about a couple
of unqualified, useless buffoons), the city of San Francisco…..the list goes on. There is all of this whining and complaining in spite of the fact that 70 percent of the good people of Arizona are in favor of this law. They are tired of their private property and their rights being trampled by the invaders and they are more tired of the federal gubment turning a blind eye and a deaf ear to their plight. The Arizona gubner's approval has gone up 10 points. Are you listening, Republicans?

Now I have heard that Texas wants a similar law. I hope they get it. I hope many others follow suit.

I am really hoping this is the beginning of a gigantic rise in federalism and states rights. I am hoping that it is the beginning of a big "go to hell" for the federal gubment. I am sure the feds will sooner or later declare Arizona's law illegal or unconstitutional. When they do I hope Arizonans will stand strong and tell the federal gubment to get the hell out of their bidness, post their national guards at the borders, and throw out any federal cops that try to come there and change things. That would be so sweet.

It would be the beginning of something great, secession perhaps, but hey I think it is time for secession. If not secession it is time to throw out the federal gubment and all the thugs and crooks that come with it.

Barack Obama says the Arizona law is bad and unconstitutional yet he has not bothered to justify the constitutionality of his stupid healthcare law, his takeover of the car companies, his takeover of the banks, his takeover of privately owned hospitals and the doctors that come with them, his attempted takeover of Wall Street, his takeover of energy………..where in the constitution is the federal gubment allowed to have their finger in any of this?

Show me your papers. This is what the left is upset about. As my friend, Rush Limbaugh points out, when do you NOT have to show papers? You have to show papers to, drive, get a loan, get a job (well most of the time), buy a gun or ammunition, get married, write a check, join the military, the list goes on, but the left just can't stand the notion of having to show papers to prove your citizenship or even to vote. It's all about voting. The left knows they cannot win in the arena of ideas but rather only by voter fraud and deception. So here is the root of the problem.

You go Arizona. Stand strong and hold true to course.

More Severe Weather?

Well, everyone here at the hospital is nervous after the tornado here last Saturday. We got word this morning that more severe weather is expected this coming Friday night and Saturday, severe thunderstorms and possible tornadoes. The hatched area gives a 10 percent probability of "significant" severe weather withing 25 miles of a point. We're in the hatched area. This is the day 3 prediction so it is subject to change.

Last Saturday we were in the hatched area and I believe the risk then was like 45 percent.......and we got a tornado.

Well, I'm always watchful, but not upset. This is the type of thing we have to contend with here each and every spring. Until last Saturday, 2010 had been a very quiet severe weather year. Guess everyone suddenly woke up and realized it's spring time!

Life on Mars?

According to NASA, there is evidence of life on Mars. A recent mission to the Red Planet has found evidence of  "a form of pond scum - the building blocks of life as we know it". Man oh man, seems like wherever we go, we're always finding Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid......pond scum.

I have read a lot and watched documentary after documentary discussing the possibility of life on other worlds. It seem like the scientists are just giddy over the possibility of life on the red planet, almost like they are grasping at any straw to find evidence. I can't help but think that in the end the evidence might be a little skewed. They want to find life so badly that they may misconstrue the evidence.......kinda like those who want to believe in man made globull warming.

I got a feeling that Mars is probably lifeless. I got a feeling that the moons of Jupiter and Saturn are also lifeless. They are too far away from the sun and cold to support life. I do however agree with Stephen Hawking (world renown physicist and cosmologist) who thinks there is probably other life somewhere in the universe. Hawking posits that with billions of galaxies like our Milky Way, with each containing billion and billion of stars and planets, that the likelihood  of a star-planet system similar to our own is very high. The problem is that other stars are so far away that unless we figure out a way to go faster than light, it is not likely we will find the answers.

Besides, Dr. Hawking seems to think that if there is other intelligent life out there headed our way, their intentions may not be honorable (war of the worlds come true).

It's fun to think about this stuff, I'll admit. I'm a star gazer and find myself looking into the night sky, wondering what else is out there, and realizing how small we really are.....COOL!

I'd like to order a plate full of lies, with some french fried lies on the side, and a tall cold glass of bald faced lies, with liar meringue pie for desert.

If there is a special place in hell for liars, then Florida gubner Charlie Crist has a reserve seat. I just read that he is indeed going to run as an independent in the Florida senate race. For those of you not paying attention, Marco Rubio, his Republican challenger, has been cleaning his clock in the polls.

It was only a few weeks ago that Crist told Chris Wallace of Fox News that he would not do this. I knew when he said it then that he was lying. Wallace knew it too as he asked him several times before Crist would finally regurgitate his lie. Damn what is it with these people? Why cannot they ever tell the truth?

If Crist will lie about this, what else will he lie about? What would he lie about while sitting in the senate?

Well I dunno offhand what this does to Rubio's chances of ultimately winning but it has to make it a lot tougher to beat the Dimocrat.
Is this the guy you want in the United States Senate? I hope Crist has a nice long eternal roast when he checks in for his final dirt nap. Damn I hate liars!

Why Republican Men are Happier

A Close Call at Lost Creek

Well we had some rough weather and a fairly close call here at Lost Creek yesterday. An apparent tornado went through the north part of the county, about 8 or 9 miles north of here, and did some extensive property damage. As far as we know, nobody was hurt or killed but there were some people cut off and trapped for a period of time mainly due to fallen trees.

Things were actually pretty calm here during all this and I wasn't excited when the tornado warning was issued because I had been watching the supercell on radar for some time. I could see it was going to pass to the north. I could easily see the cloud rotating on the radial wind velocity screen so I was afraid somebody was going to get slammed pretty bad.

Anyway we have nice weather today, everyone is cleaning up, and all is well at Lost Creek.

Go HERE and HERE and HERE to read all about it.

Grouch for Mayor

One of the young nurses this morning told me that her father said I should run for county mayor. There are a whole buncha candidates running and they are all saying pretty much the same generic stuff. I really trust none of them.

I told the young nurse that I wouldn't stand a snowball's chance of getting elected and then I explained my platform:

1. I will vote for no law that contradicts the Constitution.

2. I will under no circumstances impose any new taxes or raise your taxes and will make every effort to cut the taxes you have now.

3. One of my first duties would be to go to the courthouse and visit with all the non-essential employees who spend lots of time looking out the windows and tell them to pack their belongings and go find a real job. The courthouse shuts down here every Wednesday and everyone has the day off. The county is no worse for the wear. I'd keep the courthouse closed Monday through Thursday and have them work only on Friday, with according pay adjustments.

4. I would tell people. "Don't come to me for anything. I promise you nothing except a gubment that will get out of your way. You need to stop depending on gubment to do stuff for you and plan on making things happen for yourself."

See? Not a snowball's chance!

And the Lies Continue

Obama Suggests Value-added Tax May be an Option

Uh, Barry, the VAT will raise taxes on EVERYONE! When are the lies ever gonna stop?

How Greedy are Those Rich Doctors Anyway?

I was just reading an article in the latest Tennessee Medical Association Journal concerning recent tort reform issues in the state. In the article, Andy Walker, MD, FAAEM, quotes the AMA Center for Health Policy Research as saying that in 2001, the average emergency physician (me) provided about $140,000 in uncompensated care. The all-specialty average that year was $14,000.

Dang, that was 2001. Wonder what it is now?

Seems like a pretty good chunk of change, yet the Obama administration and the Dimocrats in general as well as many of their blind followers seem to take pleasure in demonizing us as money grubbing, rich, uncaring, SOB's.

How many of you out there could open a bidness and sustain losses between $14,000 and $140,000 per year and at the same time be controlled by a fascist gubment that scrutinizes and dictates your every move?

Just asking!
