A Couple of Heroes Finally Come Home

Here's a story that will leave you with a lump in your throat. British soldier, Lance Corporal Liam Tasker was shot and killed by a Tailban sniper. His army sniffer dog Theo died of a seizure shortly after.

L/Cpl Tasker and Theo were both heroes, having uncovered 14 weapons finds in 5 months. No telling how many lives were saved by the actions of these two.

The body of L/Cpl Tasker and the ashes of Theo were flown to RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire at lunchtime, before a cortege passed through Wootton Bassett, the Wiltshire town which has built up a tradition of welcoming back fallen heroes.
